 Verified A wonderful motel
My husband and I came for a couple of nights early September. It is a wonderful motel in a gorgeous location of WIlliamstown. The Inn keepers, Rita & Ashwan Malhotra, were very friendly pleasant folks and the surrounding nature was lovely. Our room was very clean and comfortable too! Can't recommend this motel enough.  Verified Quiet, comfortable and convenient getaway for family
The customer service and facilities are truly exceptional for what initially appears to be a small family run establishment. The complimentary breakfast is fresh and available at convenient times. The pool is nicely set in a peaceful garden. Rooms are comfortable and the owners are there to assist you to your satisfaction. Very reasonable prices.

Owners are fabulous and kind, easy access to my weekend plans, clean, friendly, quiet, adequate parking, great Adirondack chairs and fire pit/seating area, and I felt safe as a solo traveler (that’s really important to me) …. met all my needs!  Verified Perfect Labor Day weekend getaway!
We planned a last minute visit to the Berkshires over Labor Day weekend and got one of the last rooms available at Maple Terrace. Ordinarily we wouldn't go for a "motel" but the positive online reviews and the price were very attractive. The property is absolutely lovely and overlooks a horse farm, and there is a fantastic heated pool and a fire pit. Our room was small but comfortable and very clean. The location is amazing, super close to the downtown area of Williamstown, close to The Clark Museum and Mass MoCa, and all the great restaurants nearby. Maple Terrace was absolutely charming and it truly exceeded our expectations. It was also excellent value for the area and we would definitely return!

 Verified A wonderful place to stay
Room very clean, breakfast simple but very satisfactory (I have been travelling across the U.S.A. for 58 days but this is the first time I found orange marmalade at breakfast and I appreciated very much) gentle staff, garden available for seating at the end of the day while reminding the wonderful places visited (i.e. The Clark Institute of Art). Warm greeting when we arrived for our 1 night stay. Our room was ready and we parked right in front of the door. Our room (1-King bed) was large, airy and spotlessly clean! Clear instructions re: wifi and tv. The grounds were lovely and no traffic noise. Clean and up kept pool area. Plenty of outdoor seating. The continental breakfast was fresh.  Verified Wonderful Place to Stay!
What a treasure!! Right in town,. Great beds. So clean. Sweet outdoor spaces. The pool looked lovely and three beautiful horses wandered in the meadow behind.. the room was fresh with everything needed for a nice stay.. the innkeepers were friendly and a lovely, easy continental breakfast was on offer.  Verified Motel on Main Street
This was my second stay at Maple Terrace Motel; the first was five years ago. The Malhotras are friendly and knowledgeable hosts. The property is meticulously maintained. Rooms are comfortable, with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and treats. Gardens and pool are a treat on a hot summer day. Breakfast is simple but satisfying. As a solo traveler, I felt secure. The motel is in walking distance of Williams College art museum and Williamstown's main restaurant and shopping street. Must-see Clark Institute is a five-minute drive away; and MassMOCA is nearby, too. Rates are reasonable. And you're in the Berkshires with lots more to explore! Excellent service. Friendly owners. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable in every way- beds and bedding --simple but felt luxurious.  Verified Meticulously clean, spacious motel room with surprisingly beautiful grounds.
My wife and I spent the weekend in Williamstown to visit MASS MoCA, and I was quite surprised with her selection of a Motel for our stay (Motel is normally a four-letter word for her), which she booked several months in advance. She did her research and determined that the Maple Terrace Motel was the best blend of value, location, and comfort, and boy was she right. We stayed in a deluxe King Room, which was spacious and very, very clean. The owners focus on providing a great experience was apparent from the get-go with the pleasant greeting at reception, including a very detailed and helpful overview of dining options in the area, the nice little touches in the room (Hershey's kisses on the night stands, small cinnamon rolls and spring water bottles on the fridge), easily positioned smart HDTV with an extensive cable TV line-up, beautiful grounds with multiple seating areas, one over-looking rolling hills with huge willow trees and grazing horses, and the well maintained, outdoor heated pool area. We also enjoyed a pleasant walk through the adjacent cemetery to the Water Street wine shop and restaurants. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

  We stayed here after moving my daughter into Williams College. The property is beautiful! The pool was so clean. The gardens and fireplace are a really nice touch to this hidden little gem. The room was very clean, the bed and pillows are so comfortable. The owner is incredibly nice and kind. You can't beat the price.   We really enjoyed our weekend at Maple Terrace. The location was perfect for walking to The Clark and downtown Williamstown. We also spent a peaceful afternoon by the pool with beautiful views of the horse farm that abuts the property. Our room was comfortable and spotless and it was so nice to have breakfast each morning on the Adirondack chairs in the garden. On top of all of that, the innkeepers are so kind and friendly.
